The Kent State College of Aeronautics and Engineering is home to many classes and majors at Kent State University, including two categories of accredited mechatronics majors, Mechatronics Engineering Technology and Mechatronics Engineering. Both programs are ABET accredited, which is recognized as the highest standard of engineering education, and, according to ABET.org, receiving the accreditation adds assurance that the program is adhering to the quality of standards that will prepare graduates for the future.
