Last night, Dr. Marianne Prévôt took part in Kent’s second annual Pint of Science festival at North Water Brewing Co., presenting “Smart Materials That Change Before Your Eyes.” Her talk highlighted research focused on developing smart sensor materials capable of detecting toxic gases and vapors to help improve first responder safety on the job.

Pint of Science is an international festival designed to bring researchers out of the lab and into the community to share their work in a fun and accessible way. We are proud to see Kent State researchers helping make science engaging and approachable for all audiences!
