🚁 Schreiner students are getting ready to sell a helicopter!
Yes, you read that right! During Business Week, Schreiner’s Center for Professional Selling & Leadership and Aviation Studies program are teaming up for "The Sales Showdown", a competition that challenges students to pitch an emergency helicopter to a mock board of directors.
No sales experience or aviation knowledge is required. Students practice selling to an AI buyer, and the top eight scorers advance to live finals on October 21 for a chance to win scholarships of $2,000, $1,500 or $1,000. Plus, three $250 scholarships will be awarded by random drawing to students who complete just one AI sales call!
How can alumni get involved, you ask?
👏 Know a current Schreiner student? Encourage them to sign up! A nudge from a former student, parent, relative, neighbor or employer might be all it takes to get them started.
🚁 Come to campus on October 21 to see a real helicopter and cheer on the finalists. The helicopter is scheduled to land at 1 p.m., with the live finals beginning at 3:30 p.m.
📣 Share the story! This is a great example of Schreiner investing in real-world, career-ready experiences and new scholarship opportunities for students.
