Dear Schreiner Alumni,
It’s time to come home!
Homecoming 2026 is just a month away, and we hope you’ll join fellow Mountaineers on October 2–4 for a full weekend of alumni events, campus activities and, most importantly, Schreiner’s first varsity football season since 1956.
On Saturday, October 3 at 6 PM, the Mountaineers will take on Hendrix College at Antler Stadium. It’s a milestone worth being here for, and there are plenty of ways to make a weekend of it.

Friday, October 2
5 PM | Volleyball | Event Center - Cheer on the Mountaineers as they take on McMurry.
5:30 PM | Dinner | Robbins Lewis Pavilion - Enjoy dinner featuring Black’s BBQ, the original Texas BBQ experience (owner Kent Black ‘72). $25 per person | $15 for ages 10 and under.
7 PM | Live Music | Trailhead B**r Garden - Alumnus Justin Gallegos ’24 and his country band take the stage.
8 PM | Homecoming Pep Rally | Trailhead B**r Garden - Join the cheer team, Drum & Bugle Corps and football team as we get ready for Saturday’s game.
Saturday, October 3
8 AM | Mountaineer Morning | Trailhead - Coffee & pastries. $12 per person.
9 to 11 AM | SFSA Board Meeting | CCAC River Room - Fall meeting for SFSA Board members, including a light breakfast.
10 AM to 2 PM | Brunch | Schreiner Diner – $15 at the door. Card Only.
10:30 AM | Flag Football Skill Zone | Campus Turf Field - A fun, competitive event for all ages, especially elementary-aged children.
11 AM | The Schreiner Experience | CCAC River Room - Learn more about the Schreiner Experience and how it prepares students for meaningful work & purposeful lives.
11:30 AM | Athletic Hall of Honor Luncheon | CCAC Ballroom - All Athletic Hall of Honor recipients and their guests are invited to attend. Hosted by Schreiner Athletics!
12 PM| W**e Tasting | Kerrville Hills W**ery - Learn more about Schreiner’s Viticulture Certification Program while enjoying a w**e tasting. $25 per person.
2 PM | All-Alumni Tailgate | Robbins Lewis Pavilion - Baseball / Softball players encouraged! Catch up with fellow alumni before kickoff with food, snacks, music and Schreiner spirit. Alcohol may be enjoyed at the pavilion but is not permitted in Antler Stadium or the parking lot.
3:30 PM | Mountaineer Pre-Game | Trailhead – Join the Schreiner students as they get ready for kickoff with music, activities and plenty of Mountaineer spirit.
6 PM | Homecoming Football Game | Antler Stadium - Hendrix vs. Schreiner. During the game, we’ll recognize alumni from several championship teams, along with:
• All previous Athletic Hall of Honor recipients
• 1986 NAIA District IV Baseball Champions
• 1999 ASC Softball Tournament Champions
• 2000 ASC Baseball Tournament Champions
Sunday, October 4
10 AM to 2 PM | Sunday Brunch | Schreiner Diner - $15 at the door; card only.
11 AM | Sunday Service | Junkin Campus Ministry Center
