The 2026 Western Art Academy is officially underway 🎨

For the next month, some of the most talented high school artists in Texas will immerse themselves in advanced instruction in painting and sculpting, learning directly from professional artists while drawing inspiration from traditions of western heritage.

We’re excited to welcome this year’s class of 40 artists and can’t wait to see their final works of art created on campus here this summer!

Taking Flight Starts Here. ✈️✈️

SU is proud to be one of ONLY TWO universities selected to host the US Air Force’s prestigious Aim High Flight Academy this summer!

Through the fully funded program, high-achieving high school students from across the country receive flight training, aviation education and mentorship that lead to earning their Private Pilot Certificate.

This partnership reflects the strength of Schreiner’s Aviation Studies program and our commitment to developing the next generation of aviation leaders. From the classroom to the cockpit, we’re helping students turn their passion for flight into a future in aviation!
