On this Memorial Day, the Brethren of Killeen Lodge No. 1125 A.F.&A.M. pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation.
Living so close to Fort Cavazos, the weight of this day is deeply felt in our community. We are constantly reminded that the freedoms we enjoy every day were bought and paid for by the selfless heroism of our fallen service members.
As Freemasons, we are taught to practice universal benevolence and to hold a deep respect for those who protect our country. Today, we stand in silent gratitude, keeping the families of our fallen heroes in our thoughts and prayers.
"Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends."
To all who gave everything: You are not forgotten.
