Rhody Club Baseball is back for our 4th year at URI!

DIII received our first playoff bid last spring, playing against Millersville in the first round. Unfortunately, Millersville came out on top and went on to win the DIII NCBA World Series.

To learn more about our teams and how you or someone you know can get involved, stay updated on our page, message us, or send an email to [email protected].

We're back! Going into the second half of the season, our DII team is sitting at third place in the conference at 3-3, and DIII is 3-2, just one win out of first place.

DII will be travelling to Siena College this weekend, and DIII is home against Colgate with a double header on Saturday, 11am, at Curtis Corner Middle School.

The start of the season is just around the corner and tryouts are just a week away! For all players, tryouts/first practices will be held on Thursday and Friday of next week, 9/6 and 9/7, followed by an invite-only tournament at Quinnipiac University on 9/8 and 9/9. Anyone interested in playing will be able to find us at our booth at first night, where they can sign up and find out more about the team.

If you won't be able to make first night, we'll also be holding a meeting on the first day of classes, Wednesday 9/5, at time and place to TBD.

Our club baseball team(s) will be entering it's third year as an official member of the National Club Baseball Association and we couldn't be happier of the progress so far. Our Division II squad came in just two games behind first place and narrowly missed an at-large bid to play in the regional playoffs. DIII had an extremely successful first year, competing in 12 full league games and fundriasing over $2000. If you'd like to find out more about the final scores and standings for the 2017-2018 season, you can head over to the NCBA website - the link can be found on our "about" section.

If you've found yourself on this page and would like to stay updated on how you or someone you know can get involved and become a member of the team, give us a like and stay posted over the next month or so as we put together a full schedule for the upcoming year.

Each team will play 10-15 games per year, practicing roughly twice per week in- and off-season. Typically, tryouts (to be placed on either DII or DIII, no cuts) will take place the first and/or second weekend of school after classes begin. All skill levels are welcomed.

If you'd like to learn more, feel free to reach out to us via Messenger on Facebook, or email at [email protected] or [email protected].
