Starting college is a major milestone, and we know families have questions. Join us for the next TAMUK Family Compass Series session, where you’ll hear from the parent of a college freshman and staff from Student Engagement and Campus Life as they share insights, experiences, and helpful tips for supporting your student during their transition to college.

Thinking about going back to school, earning your GED, or exploring college opportunities?

Christopher Hernandez shares how the Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) at Texas A&M University–Kingsville helps adults take the next step in their educational journey.

Through the EOC, eligible participants can receive assistance with:
• College admissions applications
• FAFSA and financial aid applications
• GED information and resources
• Academic counseling
• College transfer support

The program serves residents of Jim Wells, Duval, Brooks, Kleberg, and Nueces counties, including low-income, first-generation adults, military veterans, U.S. citizens, and permanent residents.
