πŸŽ“πŸš‘ TODAY IS THE DAY! πŸš‘πŸŽ“

After months of hard work, long nights, countless exams, clinicals, and ride time, our 2025/2026 Paramedic Class graduates today!

Now, we know Mother Nature didn't exactly get the memo. It rained and it's probably going to rain some more. β˜”οΈ But isn't there an old wives' tale that says rain on an important day brings good luck? We're choosing to believe it!

Today isn't about the weatherβ€”it's about celebrating an incredible group of students who have dedicated themselves to serving others and answering the call when their communities need them most.

Join us in congratulating our graduating paramedics and wishing them success as they begin the next chapter of their EMS careers!

πŸš‘πŸ‘• Fresh polos, fresh skills, and plenty of smiles!

Our EMT students got their brand-new EMT polos on Friday, and it was a great day seeing everyone proudly representing the profession they're working so hard to join. There's just something exciting about putting on that uniform for the first timeβ€”it makes all those hours of studying, practicing, and learning feel a little more real!

We're proud of this group and can't wait to see what they accomplish as they continue their EMS journey. The future of emergency medicine is looking pretty sharp! πŸ˜ŽπŸš‘

πŸŽ’πŸš‘ Help Us Bring Home the GOAT! πŸš‘πŸŽ’

The Battle of the Badges: Backpack Edition is officially underway, and the Adair County Ambulance District is in it to win it! πŸ†

From now through June 30, we're collecting new backpacks to help local students start the school year prepared and ready to learn. Every backpack donated not only supports a child in our communityβ€”it also helps us climb the leaderboard in the race for the coveted GOAT Trophy (Greatest of All Time)! 🐐

So we're calling on our friends, families, supporters, and community members:

πŸŽ’ Donate a new backpack
πŸš‘ Drop it off at Adair County Ambulance District
πŸ† Help us beat the competition and claim GOAT status!

While we may be competitive, the real winners are the local kids who will benefit from your generosity. Still... we wouldn't mind having that trophy displayed at base! 😎

Let's show everyone that EMS has the best supporters around. Help us bring home the GOAT!

πŸ“šπŸš‘ Week 2 is officially underway for our in-person EMT class!

We are thrilled to have an incredible group of 15 students joining us on their journey into EMS. In fact, this class is so large that we officially had to move into the big classroom to make sure everyone had enough space to learn and grow!

These students are taking their first steps toward becoming the next generation of EMTs, and we couldn't be more excited to watch their progress throughout the course. There will be challenges, long nights of studying, and plenty of hands-on learning ahead, but we know they are up to the task.

Join us in cheering on our EMT students as they work toward their goals and prepare to serve their communities. We can't wait to see what they accomplish! πŸ‘πŸš‘πŸŽ‰

πŸ“’ Thinking about taking the next step in your EMS career? Enrollment is still open for our July Paramedic Class! If you're ready to advance your education and skills, now is the time to apply. Contact us today for more information.

Today we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Tri County Electric Foundation for their incredible generosity and support of EMS education and training. We are truly honored to have been selected as a recipient of a $2,500 grant that will directly benefit our students, providers, and the communities we serve.

This funding has allowed us to purchase updated American Heart Association teaching materials, new training manikins, and replacement parts for our existing equipment. These resources are essential in helping us continue to provide high-quality, hands-on, and effective EMS education and training.

At The ACADemy and Adair County Ambulance District, we are committed to preparing providers with the knowledge and skills needed to deliver the best possible patient care. Support like this helps ensure we can continue offering realistic, up-to-date training opportunities not only for our own organization, but for the communities we serve and surrounding areas.

Thank you again to the Tri County Electric Foundation for investing in the future of EMS and helping us continue our mission of serving our communities through education and excellence.
