CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS: We’ve been collecting new and gently used clothing for our community’s Back-to-School Bash on August 2, an event that supports low-income families across Lake County by helping children start the school year with confidence and dignity.

We’re currently looking for volunteers to assist with the following activities:
• Help sort, fold, and box up items at our office in Mentor. Volunteers are needed July 23 – 24 or July 28 - 30 between 9am - 5pm.
• Load boxes into a moving truck on Friday, August 1 at 8:30am. Start at our office at 9285 Progress Parkway in Mentor and finish at Harvey High School in Painesville.
• Set up the clothing “shop” at Harvey High School on Friday, August 1 between 9am – 12pm.
• Help keep the clothing neat and stocked at the event, Saturday, August 2. Two shifts are available: 7:30 – 11:30 or 11:30 – 3:30.
• Provide translation services during the event (9am – 2 pm) on Saturday, August 2.
Last year, 2,603 people received support, and we cannot do this without the help of our community. Please grab a friend or two and consider volunteering for one or more of the above volunteer activities!
