💙 Week 2: Choose Service 💙

Welcome to Week 2 of our 25 Days of Kindness! This week, we’re choosing service, and it doesn’t have to be a grand gesture. Sometimes the smallest acts can make the biggest difference.

👐 Help someone with a small task
🗑️ Pick up 11 pieces of trash or litter
💌 Leave an encouraging note for someone
➡️ Let someone go ahead of you in line
🤝 Offer to help a friend, classmate, or coworker who has their hands full

Service is about noticing what others need and choosing to lend a hand. Look for an opportunity to make someone’s day a little easier this week! ✨

✨ Week 1: Build Connection ✨

Kindness begins with the people around us. This week, we’re focusing on building connection through five simple acts of kindness:

👋 Smile and say hello to 5 people
🙋 Introduce yourself to someone new
💬 Give 3 genuine compliments
❤️ Ask someone how they’re doing—and really listen
🚪 Hold the door open for others

A smile, a conversation, or simply acknowledging someone can brighten their day more than you realize.

Let’s make connection a little more intentional this week.

Which act will you complete first? 💙

September 11th is recognized as a National Day of Service and Remembrance — inspiring people across the country to turn remembrance into action.

Starting August 24th, we’ll be sharing five acts of kindness each week for five weeks.

That’s 25 acts of kindness — representing the 25 years since the attacks of September 11th, 2001.

By taking part in these challenges, you’ll help create a stronger, more compassionate campus community while honoring the spirit of unity that emerged in the days following 9/11.

But our hope is that kindness doesn’t end on September 11th.

It continues long after — becoming part of how we care for one another, support our community, and show up for each other every day.

Let’s make kindness more than a challenge.

Let’s make it a habit.

Join us as we remember, serve, and CHOOSE KINDNESS!
