Former External Vice President and senior brother Jackson Miller is this week’s

“I rushed BYX in my freshman year because of the guys I already knew in the fraternity but stayed because I saw it as a place to grow and serve well. Each year has contributed to an amazing arc from being mentored to becoming a mentor. I have been able to build a group of lifelong friends who constantly have my back through times of loss or triumph and I can do the same for them. I can confidently say that I feel prepared for life beyond college because of the ways this brotherhood has pushed me closer to the man of God I am called to be. 2 Timothy 2:22.”

This week’s goes out to senior brother Lane Christenson! Lane Christenson

“I went into college looking for a strong Christian community, and I am so blessed to have found somewhere with such intentional people that constantly push me to pursue the Lord. I have made so many incredible friends in here, many of which who I will keep in contact with long after college ends. I really love using BYX as a platform to get involved in other parts of campus, and having guys to fall back on and point me in the right direction here has been priceless in my college experience. I could talk for hours about what it’s done for me, and it’ll always be a place I cherish.”

This week’s goes out to sophomore brother Drew Cothern! Drew Cothern

“Going abroad my first semester was an amazing experience, but it definitely felt like a setback when it came to finding community here at UT. Coming back in the spring and rushing BYX was truly one of the greatest decisions I have ever made. These brothers have become so much more than just fraternity brothers to me. They have become some of my closest friends and people I know I can always count on. The Christian community in BYX is something I am especially thankful for. Being surrounded by guys who genuinely love the Lord, encourage one another, and want to grow in their faith has been such a blessing. I am so thankful for all the friendships, memories, and opportunities God has given me through this brotherhood. I truly could not be more grateful for the community I have found in BYX.”
