POV: Summer is here… and we have a feeling some of you really needed that. 😅

This has been a season of so much. Some of you just walked across a stage and turned a tassel. Some finished your hardest semester yet. Some quietly hit a milestone nobody else saw coming… but you knew what it cost you to get there. And that matters.

Scripture doesn’t just permit rest. It models it. Even in the rhythm of creation, God built in a moment to pause and call things good. This summer, we want to give you permission to do the same. Call this season good. Breathe. Let God meet you in the stillness.

Not every bloom makes the headlines. Some of the most beautiful growth happens in quiet places… in small victories, private breakthroughs, and seeds planted long before anyone noticed. But God sees every single one. And He calls it good.

You’ve worked hard. You’ve grown. And the same God who carried you through this year isn’t stopping here. He’s walking right into this season with you. ☀️🌸

🚔 Now Enrolling for Fall 2026: Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice at Johnson University!

Are you passionate about justice, service, and making a difference in your community? Johnson University's new Criminal Justice program prepares students to explore the complexities of crime, law, ethics, and social responsibility through a distinctly Christian worldview.

Students will gain practical knowledge in areas such as criminal investigation, the court system, corrections, ethics, diversity awareness, and social justice, while learning how faith can inform and shape their approach to serving others.

As with all traditional undergraduate students at Johnson University, Criminal Justice majors will also earn a second major in Bible & Theology, equipping graduates to lead with both professional excellence and a strong biblical foundation.

Whether you're interested in careers in law enforcement, federal agencies, corrections, legal advocacy, community service, or related fields, this program is designed to help you make a meaningful impact.

Kiersten Bell didn't just study the human body—she learned how to care for it.

As a Life Sciences major, volleyball player, and certified CNA, Kiersten has balanced rigorous academics with real-world healthcare experience. From researching mutation and adaptation in Molecular Biology to working in nursing homes, she's discovered how science and compassion work together.

Next stop? Physician Assistant school, where she'll combine clinical skill with faith-informed care.

Our Johnson Royals softball team finished as Runner-Up in the NAIA National Tournament Opening Round, capping off an incredible season filled with grit, heart, and moments our campus won’t soon forget! 💙

At 11:40 PM on May 13, members of our Johnson community, including staff, faculty, and students, gathered to welcome the team back to campus and celebrate all they accomplished this season!
