WUOT is airing a piece with a lot of harp this Tuesday at 8 PM. It’s the KSO’s last month’s program that can be heard on the radio or on the website wuot.org 91.9 FM. It’s Max Bruch’s Scottish fantasy for violin solo and orchestra. Cindy Emory accompanied the soloist, Stefan Jackiw, in the last movement with a back-and-forth with the orchestra.

MAKING THE BEST OF IT🚗 Hailey Ann Smith was on her way to play the harp at a wedding when she got stuck in standstill traffic on I-85 in Georgia.

Instead of getting frustrated, Hailey, in her full performance gown, got her beautiful concert harp out in the middle of the interstate and began to play.

Travelers who were stuck got out of their cars and sat on the roof of their trucks to listen to her beautiful music. She gave a whole new meaning to the word "traffic jam!"
