From forming relationships at casual events like Milkshake Mondays to connecting with students individually over lunch to discuss unique concerns, the Dean Team works to support the holistic growth of Volunteers during the entirety of their time at UT. Two Division of Student Life staff, Katy Locke and Jill Zambito, have recently launched new projects as co-principal investigators focused on student wellness on Rocky Top! Thanks to mini-grant awards from the UT System making the creation of new ventures like these possible, the university and division can continue offering and expanding the ways we care for all Vols. Join us for the fall Off-Campus Housing Expo! This event will be held on September 25, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., on Ped Walkway. Students will have the chance to connect with property representatives as well as campus and community partners to answer questions and to guide students with exploring off-campus housing opportunities in the area.

For Vols looking for a fun way to unwind from classes and spend time with friends, UT has continued to partner with Dollywood to offer discounted tickets to our students! During the fall and winter months, Dollywood has seasonal themes at the park, with their Harvest Festival beginning September 14 and running through October 31. During this time, the theme park is filled with thousands of pumpkins as they host other events such as Harvey's Boo Bash and their new Great Pumpkin LumiNights Dance Party! This weekend is the first of two Vol Family Reunions scheduled for this fall, and we are so excited to welcome Vols and their family members to campus with the Center for Student Advocacy and Family Experience. Family members and loved ones play a huge role in helping students achieve success on campus while also feeling connected to meaningful relationships. We hope this weekend is a great reunion for everyone and we can't wait to see all the smiles that happen!
