Learning extends far beyond the classroom. Study abroad experiences give students the opportunity to explore new cultures, gain global perspectives, and create memories that last a lifetime. We’re proud to support students as they discover the world and expand what’s possible.

THEY WON! 🏆🇺🇸

Congratulations to the team of fourth- and fifth-grade students from Alcoa Intermediate School on winning their age group in the national Presidential AI Challenge! They developed "Homework Helper," an AI tool designed to reduce homework-related stress and support student learning.

The students were supported by AI Tennessee and mentored by University of Tennessee Theory and Practice in Teacher Education assistant professor Emily Holtz, who helped them explore how AI can be used responsibly to solve real-world challenges.

Their success is a powerful example of what can happen when young learners are encouraged to think critically, collaborate, and innovate!
