MGC would like to highlight the Stereotypes and Misconceptions event we held earlier this semester and talk about how this event had enhanced awareness to the general public and taught everyone what our NPHC and MGC organizations are actually all about. As this event was successful in many ways, we successfully managed to make sure the public understood the greatest takeaways from attending this event, which was to understand that joining any orgs in either council betters you as a person, open doors to uplift your community, and learning the true meaning of sisterhood/brotherhood behind the letters. This event was also very engaging as we all interacted with everyone there. The stereotypes and misconceptions were definitely broken at this event as everyone understood who we truly are as organizations here on UT’s campus. The info graphic shown below shows how this event was successful. Once again thank you to all orgs that came out and supported us with this event and thank you to everyone that came!
