Anu Kumar is a sister of Sigma Alpha Iota, a musical fraternity focused on recruiting collegiate women with an interest in music to promote music via philanthropy and other programs. She is a Neuroscience major at the UT and she has been involved with the prestigious Pride of the Southland Marching while also volunteering locally for the All-East honor bands, and much more.

This is the first time in EIGHT years that the ladies have the chance to send a delegate to their national convention in Pheonix, Arizona. As men of music, we fully support these ladies in their goals and endeavors to promote music.

Just some brothers having a delicious Christmas feast together 😊. While this semester has had its up and downs for the fraternity, there is nothing one of these brothers wouldn't do for the fraternity or another brother. That is why we will always push on no matter what, and why I am proud to be part of it myself. From the Theta Omicron chapter of Phi Mu Alpha, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Here are a couple of snapshots of the mixer that we held with Gamma Rho of Sigma Alpha Iota last Friday. They were an amazing group of girls, and hopefully we can do more with them in the future. It's nice being able to get together with all different kinds of people, but as a music fraternity, it's also nice meeting and connecting with people who share our mission as a music organization.
