You can’t protect your children from everything in life, but
you can help protect them from HPV-related cancers. The
American Academy of Pediatrics recommends HPV
vaccination for kid ages 9-12. Kids who start before age 15
need 2 doses. Kids who start at age 15 or older need 3 doses.

For peace of mind, to your child’s healthcare
provider and ask about HPV vaccination.

Approximately 1 million people get shingles in the US each year. The virus causes a painful rash that can be severe. Adults 50 and older and those with compromised immune systems are at increased risk of developing shingles.

Getting vaccinated is the best way to reduce your chance of getting shingles or reduce your chances of long-lasting pain if you do get shingles. Ask you provider if you would benefit from a shingles vaccine.
