Looks like we’re going to have a great turnout for the East TN Aggie Club Smokies outing on July 12th! We’ve had strong interest so far and are working through final group details with the Smokies now.

Thanks to everyone who completed the survey. RSVP details coming soon!

And if baseball isn’t your thing, don’t worry. We’ve got more events planned for later this summer!

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms in every form that word takes.

To the ones raising kids, missing kids, loving kids, raising dogs/cats/pets, stepping in as moms, and showing up in ways that don’t always get recognized, today is for you.

You matter, and what you do matters more than you probably hear.

It was great to see all who made it to Muster last week. As our club membership dues cycle runs from Muster to Muster, we're sending a reminder and a note from Victor (below) about the importance of club dues. If you didn't attend Muster, please renew your membership and pay dues online for the upcoming year. If you have any questions about your dues status, email Victor directly, and he can confirm/check for you!

Yesterday, 65 Aggies gathered for the East Tennessee A&M Club’s Aggie Muster at Calhoun's on the River. Aggies from across Tennessee, and even a few from out of state, came together to honor those whose physical presence we have lost, but whose spirits live on as Aggies Softly Called the Muster and all of the "Here" that echoed around the globe.

Our speaker, Dave Zimmerman '94, reminded us that living our Aggie values and engaging with our community isn't just a choice; it’s a calling. He also reminded us that, in all current (and historical) events, Aggies are present and involved, and that they need to be thought of and remembered as they serve our country and world in many other servant capacities.

We also had the opportunity to recognize and celebrate Bruce Kennedy '47, who is approaching his 100th birthday! We presented Mr. Kennedy with a framed print of Aggieland signed by everyone in attendance at Muster. Additionally, our club president, Victor Hazlewood '88, surprised him with a framed copy of his 1947 senior yearbook photo. We were so glad to have Mr. Kennedy and his daughter, Dione, with us for this special recognition.

Much appreciation and gratitude to our club's Muster Chair, Victoria Haverbusch '14, for her excellent work coordinating another meaningful Muster for the club.

"If there is an A&M man in one hundred miles of you, you are expected to get together, eat a little, and live over the days you spent at the A&M College of Texas."

Tonight, we answer the call. As we prepare for Muster, we look back on a tradition started in 1924 to honor the Aggies who are no longer with us. When we say "Here" for those who leave small holes in our hearts, we ensure their memory lives on through our Aggie family.

Aggie network, I’m asking you to show up for one of our own.

Addison Asher ’24 is currently in Knoxville, attending UT Law, and is actively seeking a 2L summer law clerk position.

She’s especially interested in opportunities in Texas (New Braunfels/San Antonio, Abilene, DFW/Weatherford) with firms focused on real estate law, estate planning, business law, or other transactional work. She’s also open to opportunities in East Tennessee within driving distance of Knoxville.

Howdy! The Tennessee Aggie Moms Club is selling goodie bags for finals. If you have an Aggie or know an Aggie on campus and want to make their finals week a bit brighter, see the image and the link! Gig'em and help the students

Your volunteer club leadership met today for lunch, fellowship, and club business as we finalized logistics for Muster and talked through what’s ahead. Looking forward to seeing so many of our East Tennessee Aggie family in April for Muster and at more club events throughout 2026.
