Hey y’all! It’s that time of year again! Pine Lodge #642 will be set up at 120 W. Main in Kountze for The Historic Holidays on the Square.

We’ll be selling our famous pulled pork sandwiches and links as well as jambalaya as part of our annual fundraiser. These funds help support the scholarships we award each year to two Kountze High School students, as well as cover important lodge maintenance.

There will be tons of great vendors, good food, and fun for the whole family — so come on out and see us! We’ll be set up and serving until we’re sold out.

On Saturday, October 18 at 10:00 a.m., Pine Lodge #642 will be hosting a fundraiser at the Waffle House in Vidor, TX, selling pulled pork sandwiches and sausage links to benefit The Stable Spirit Foundation.

If you haven’t heard of this incredible organization, we encourage you to learn more about their mission. The Stable Spirit Foundation provides therapeutic sessions for individuals with mental or physical challenges, helping them adapt and thrive through interaction with animals. With rising operational costs, the foundation needs our community’s support to continue serving those in need.

This cause is especially meaningful to us, as one of our own members’ daughters benefits from their therapy programs. All proceeds from this event will go directly to The Stable Spirit Foundation.

We invite all brethren in the Southeast Texas area—Pine Forest, Vidor, and surrounding communities—to participate, share, and support this effort. Let’s come together as a Community and as Masons to make this event both successful and impactful.

If you have time, please consider volunteering or visiting the foundation to see firsthand the difference they make.

It’s been an incredibly difficult week for our community with the loss of several beloved individuals. Please keep these families in your thoughts and prayers during this time of unimaginable grief. If you are able, consider offering support in any way—whether through kind words, acts of service, or prayers. Our town is hurting, and now more than ever, we need to come together to lift up those who are struggling.

Stay tuned everybody! We have a fundraiser in the works that we hope ends up being HUGE! All the proceeds will go to an organization that is truly deserving and definitely needs some financial help for operations. If you are interested you should check out Stable Spirits. We will keep you posted as more details are formed and we get closer the the fundraiser.
