And that’s a wrap on CEI 2026! 🎉

Counselors, counselor educators, and graduate students joined us from across the country for a full day of connection, learning, and innovation in counselor education.

This year’s sessions explored topics including:
✔️ Trauma-informed practice in counselor education
✔️ Behavioral addictions
✔️ Self-care for clinicians (ACES & secondary trauma)
✔️ The ethics of AI in clinical practice..and so much more!

Our team spent the day visiting incredible small businesses throughout Kutztown, including Dewy Meadow Foods, Inc., City Cuts Barbershop, Paisley & Company Bath Boutique & Fragrance Bar, and Bagel Bar Cafe.

Each conversation offered a powerful reminder that learning doesn’t stop in the classroom - it happens every day in our local workforce.
