Hey Feminists! Here's some ways you can still make a difference while self isolating. Tips from Planned Parenthood:
Educate yourself: Every day we learn more about COVID-19 and as the situation develops, recommendations to keep you and your family safe are changing locally and nationally. Stay informed with updates from the CDC.https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html
Get counted: The 2020 census has big implications for sexual and reproductive health care. Grab the census form from your mailbox or online and fill it out. Resources for our health care needs over the next decade are determined in part by the census. https://2020census.gov
Check your voter registration: Maybe November will be your first time voting, or you've voted before but moved, or you live in a state that regularly removes names from its voter rolls. Now is a perfect time to make sure you and your loved ones are registered and ready for the 2020 election. https://www.plannedparenthood.org/voter-registration
Add this to your "must-watch" queue: "Ours to Tell" is a short film we created with We Testify, which tells the stories of four people whose freedom to access abortion empowered their futures. https://www.istandwithpp.org/ours-to-tell
Ours to Tell is the story of four people who live full and empowered lives because they had the freedom to access abortion.
