Our very own Tom Miller was honored today as the 2026 WAVE AG Friend of Agriculture! Tom has worked 26 years as the Ballard County Agriculture and Natural Resource Agent. In his role, he helps farmers and homeowners with issues they may have with crops and livestock and with trees, grasses, gardens and more. He has served as the Kentucky Agriculture Agents Association President, participated in state leadership programs and studied abroad. Tom was the organizer of the recent Estate Planning Series through the UK Cooperative Extension Service Office. Tom has also worked with 4-Hers and helped support programs on nutrition and manners/etiquette. Finally he serves on economic development boards in the county. We are proud he is our Ag Agent and we look forward to him continuing several more years!
