One of the High Impact Practices offered by the UWL SOE is an optional field experience in Luxembourg!

This year's cohort is there RIGHT NOW, living their best lives.

The students are majors in the Elementary Education/Special Education program, and they're in Europe with Dr. Kabashi, a UWL professor, and Dr. Rogers, a professor from Montana State University.

The group works hard, spending their days teaching special education at local schools and staying with host families in the region, and also managing coursework.

Did you know that there are THREE official languages in Luxembourg?
Luxembourgish, French, and German!

Congratulations!

You might think that things relax a little bit in the School of Education since it's summer ... and that might be partly true, but we still have a LOT going on.

Currently, we have a cohort of Elementary Education majors who are doing a summer field experience in Milwaukee! These students live in provided housing, go to their placements at the Notre Dame School of Milwaukee, and then in the evenings complete their methods courses.

Thanks to the generosity of many of our partners, they also get to do cool things like go see the Milwaukee Brewers play!

Enjoy these photos of our Summer Milwaukee Urban Experience cohort at the game!

Congratulations!
