Meet our 8 lucky, talented, hard-working and deserving 2026-27 Teacher Residents!

Our Teacher Residency Program is beginning its second year, with all 8 students placed in the LaCrosse School District (Hintgen Elementary, Summit Elementary, Hamilton Elementary, and Logan Middle School).

The residents spend a full year with two cooperating teachers (one general ed and one special education), take classes at UWL, and then agree to work in the district for one year after graduation. They get paid a significant scholarship so they can focus mainly on teaching and not work another job.

Meet: Alli, Rachel, Madee, Maddie, Maggie, Hannah, Sophi, and Megan! (and see the teacher bags we made at seminar last night).

Wish these amazing students good luck!!
