Graduating senior Isabella Pahl presented her research on the history of Door County at the recent annual conference of the North American Society for Oceanic History (NASOH) in New Haven, Connecticut.

She knocked it out of the park, presenting an outstanding paper and handling questions from the large audience like a pro!

Isabella will graduate in August with a double major in public and policy history and French. She received an undergraduate research grant to conduct the archival research that led to this paper. Her travel to the conference was supported by grants from the history department and the College of Arts, Social Sciences, and Humanities, and by NASOH's Chad Smith Student Travel Grant.
