Welcome to the UW-L Communication Club page. This page is designed to help students keep up-to-date Dues are $5 a semester of $10 for the academic year!

Meet fellow students with the best major on campus (Communication Studies), network with local employers, learn about internship opportunities and much more. If any of these sound like you, then come to one of our meetings listed below! We welcome any new, current and even students who are slightly interested in Communication Studies to attend our meetings. We meet every other Monday at 5:30pm in

Good afternoon Eagles! As you all may know, today marks the first day of Oktoberfest here in La Crosse. Your COMM Club officers would like to remind you to have fun, but most importantly, please be safe! It is crucial that during this time, each of you make conscious and responsible decisions not only for your own safety, but for that of others! As always, COMM Club wishes you the best. Happy Friday everyone! COMM Club's first meeting will be held on Monday, Sept. 25th at 6 pm in Centennial Hall, room 1401. You will get the chance to know our COMM club officers and other students while playing a few fun games! Join us for a chance to win prizes and make meaningful connections with your peers!

We would like to thank everyone for attending our welcome back event. It was nice to see some familiar faces, as well as some new ones! We hope that you all enjoyed getting to connect with classmates as well as some of our faculty, and we look forward to seeing you all at upcoming meetings! Our final guest for Professionals Night is, Jason Berthiaume! Jason is a 2015 UWL Grad and Communication Studies major. He currently works as a Transformation Lead at CUNA Mutual Financial Group in Madison, WI. As a Transformation Lead he works as a project manager, agile coach and scrum master. He is currently working on a two year workday financial implementation. Prior to his time as CUNA, Jason was a project manager at Frazer Consultants building out websites and data management software in the funeral industry, a project coordinator at Network Engineering Technologies managing global retail networking projects, and a store manager at Hollister. Jason is working toward a future in program management and would love to eventually manage a full project management office. He is an avid fan of Chelsea Football Club, backpacking and Starwars and is excited to be returning to UWL to speak. We can't wait to talk to Jason!

Our next Professionals Night guest is Elizabeth McMullen! Elizabeth graduated from UWL in 2014 with a bachelor's degree in Communication. Elizabeth worked at a community bank, honing her skills in media relations, relationship building, and event planning. In 2018, Elizabeth joined Organic Valley as a PR Coordinator and has since moved up to a PR Specialist. Whether writing press releases or managing relationships with journalists, Elizabeth is always focused on building meaningful connections and telling the story of Organic Valley and its farmers. We can't wait to hear from Elizabeth!

Our next guest is Colton Boley! Colton graduated from UWL in 2019 with a degree in Communication and a minor in Leadership Development. After graduation, Colton began working at Mandli Communications where he worked in sales and marketing. Currently, Colton works as a Senior Screening Solutions Specialist at Exact Sciences. In a typical day-to-day, Colton works with doctors and medical staff to improve patient adherence and processes related to Cologuard which is a noninvasive colon cancer screening test. We are so excited to have Colton at Professions Night!
