God has called you to be a committed and focused Christian soldier.

He is the revealer of the secrets of men’s hearts, so today ask him to search and reveal any areas in your soul where you have allowed something to entrap you so greatly that it threatens to eliminate you from the fight.

*Preach*

_Romans 10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?_

```A very good morning to you.

With the current pandemic there has been a lot of talk about the end of days. Many preachers have made predictions concerning the coming of Christ, and they have even come up with time frames. But the truth is no one can never know whether He is coming tomorrow or the day after. All we can be content with is knowing that we have been expecting His coming for a long time, and we should expect it anytime. He is indeed coming very soon.

But when we look at the world around us, you realize that there are many around us who remain unsaved. There are many who are still in the place of death and are headed to eternal suffering. And so whilst we calculate days left for Christ to come back, we have neglected the most important thing, and that is to preach the gospel to the unsaved.

We can't just be content with our own salvation, we must desire it of others as well. But they can not be saved if we do not share Christ with them. The most important message in these times is not a prosperity message, or a physical healing message, but a salvation message. We need to sn**ch as many as we can from the fires of hell before the end comes. And this is not a responsibility of pastors only, but every believer.

Christ must be preached so that the world can be saved. Question is, will you share Christ? For how can they believe without a preacher? If He really is in you, it should not be difficult to tell others about Him.

Preach Christ.

*Free From Sin*

_Romans 6:18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness._

```A very good morning to you.

Sin remains the believer's greatest struggle. Not because of its invincibility, but rather because of man's ignorance. Although we have received Christ, some do not understand the full extent of His Lordship over our lives. And so they remain bound by sin

There was a time when we were slaves to sin. When we did what sin demanded of us even though we did not want to. We gave in to sin because we had no choice.

But when Christ came, He gave us a choice. We no longer have to sin, for we are now slaves to righteousness. Doing good has become our nature, just as you don't have to make an effort to breathe, so you don't need to make an effort to do good, it flows out of you naturally.

Of course we will be tempted, but we don't have to fall. We simply have to say no, and the devil will flee from us. The grace of God has not only freed us from sin, but it has enabled us to live above sin forever.

The devil can convince us that we have weakness, areas where we can easily fall into sin, where we can not resist temptation. But when you mature in Christ you will begin to understand that you have no weakness, and that you are perfect in Christ. It is all in your mind, if you change the way you think, you will change the outcome.

You are free from sin. It has no power over you.

*combating religious spirits*

A religious spirit is a demon that seeks to substitute the power of the holy spirit with religious activities.

Its primary is to have a church holding to a form of godliness.

From the foundation the church had been fighting this demon, it first manifest in the Pharisees.

*Deceptiveness of the religious spirit*

Religious spirit is so deceptive because it is founded upon the zeal of the lord. *Romans 10:2*
For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.

Of all cults opposing the church, they haven't done much damage as the religious spirit.

The Pharisees, pray, fast, read the Bible more than anyone, and had great hope for the messiah to come but they were the greatest resistors.

Someone with a religious spirit will always like to see someone pay or be punished for their wrong, than they are in seeing the person receiving forgiveness and grace of God.

*Sure Footing*

_Psalm 18:36 Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, that my feet did not slip._

```A very good morning to you.

One of the challenges that we often have as people is fear of the unknown. We look at where we are and we imagine all that can go wrong, and sometimes it causes us to be afraid. The future remains a mystery to most, and it is human nature to be afraid of that which is not known. Even when we imagine that the future holds good things we still fear because we are not really sure that it shall be according to how we desire it to be.

What we need in life is assurance, a guarantee that things will turn out all right. This assurance is found in God, we might not know exactly what is in store for us tommorow but we know He knows, and because He knows we take rest in that. We know that if there is any danger ahead, He has already made a provision for our deliverance. We know that He will be with us and will make everything work to our advantage. We know that as long as He is with us our feet are planted on solid ground and we will not slip.

The journey of life may be hazardous and slippery, but He will enlarge your steps, He will reinforce your walk so that you do not slip and fall. He knows where all the thorns and pitfalls are and will make you to pass through unharmed. He has already gone before you and prepared a way for you, all you need is to trust Him. There may be many traps and snares along the way, but He will not allow you to slip, He will hold you by the hand and guide you to safety, He will enlarge your steps. That is why David could say with assurance "even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil". As long as He is with you, your journey is assured, you will arrive and you will not fall along the way.

In whatever journey you are in, may your steps be enlarged. Your career will not slip, your marriage will not slip, your business will not slip, your ministry will not slip, whatever you have embarked on, may the Lord enlarge your steps and keep you from falling. You shall be established in confidence and assurance.

_Psalm 18:30 As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him._

A very good morning to you.

Trust is not often placed in unknown objects. If you go into a shop you are usually looking for the brands that you know, because they have a solid reputation, over the years these brands have been tried and tested, and they have been proved to worthy of trust.

The word of God has stood the test of time. It has been attacked incessantly over the years but it has endured, many men have tried to extinguish it but they have since gone and the word remains. The trust that we place in the word of God is not blind trust, others have come before us and have trusted it, and they have been established. We have trusted His word and we have seen it do wonders in our lives. We know that we can turn to His word any day and find answers to all our problems, without doubt.

In times of trouble we know where to run to. In the day of adversity His word will be our mainstay, in the day of mourning His word will be our comfort, and in the day the enemy attacks us His word will be our defense.

Those who trust in His word will never be put to shame. The words of men will fail but the word of God will be established for ever. He will be a shield and a buckler to those who trust in His word.

```A blessed Sunday morning to you.

There are times when life stretches us and threatens to destroy us. We come across challenges that are so severe that we do not think it is possible to recover from such.

It can be betrayal by a friend or loved one, loss of a valuable asset or money. It can even be the death of a loved one. We look at the situation and we are convinced that it will destroy us.

God never promised us that we would have a trouble free life. But He promised to be with us in the midst of our troubles. When the waves come, He will be hold our hand and teach us how to ride the wave until the tide subsidizes. But the question that we ask is, why does He not just shield us from such pain.

Sometimes pain is and frustration is necessary for our growth. God uses our times of distress to enlarge us. Every challenge that you live through and overcome will leave you stronger and wiser. What you are going through right now is going to change you into a different person, a better person.

You will be knocked down in life, but not to stay down. The Lord will give you the grace to get up and continue, stronger and wiser.

Good or bad. All things will work together for your good. The process might not be pleasant, but the result will be sweet.

May the Lord enlarge you as you go through that challenge in life. May you call out and be heard in your time of need. May He give you beauty for ashes. And may He use whatever you are going through right for your elevation and promotion.

*Angels On Assignment*

_Psalm 91:11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. 12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone._

A very good morning to you.

In the Bible God is several times referred to as the Lord of Hosts, that is the Lord of the armies of heaven. God does have an army, and it is made up of an innumerable number of special beings called angels. These angels are not only found in heaven but they also operate on earth where scripture tells us that they have been assigned to be ministering spirits to the saints. They serve the saints at the command of and on behalf of God.

Even though the teaching on angels is something that is usually glossed over in church, their ministry in our lives is nevertheless true. God has assigned angels over all His children so that the angels will do all the heavy lifting while God's children enjoy the benefits. You might not know it but there are angels watching over you right now. They go before you and set things in order before you arrive at a place, they watch over you when you walk or sleep, and they fight for you in invisible battles that you do not see. When a threat is raised upon your life they will recognize it even before you and they will deal with it. Infact there are many fires that these angels put out in our lives before we even see the smoke from the fires, what we see is only but a fraction of what happens in the realm of the spirit.

You are never truly on your own, you are in the company of the heavenly armies, angels are all over around you. Sometimes when you feel overwhelmed by the size of the enemy and the battle, you only need to be reminded that those who are on our side are more that those on their side. You might not see the activity of angels but it is true all the same and you must trust in it.

May the angels of God go before you and make every crooked path straight. May they go before you and sanitise every space that you step into before you arrive there. And may you always find comfort in knowing that all of heaven's resources are on your side. You are not alone, God has assigned angels in every area of your life.
