ASUCSD: Office of Student Advocacy

ASUCSD: Office of Student Advocacy Mission of the Office of Student Advocacy: To assist and represent UCSD students who have been accused of academic and non- academic misconduct

The ASUCSD Office of the Student Advocate, is an office made up of UCSD students who strive to ensure that their fellow student's rights are being upheld. We do this primarily through advising, supporting, and representing students through both the academic integrity and student conduct processes. Our Office can offer a variety of services to students, and it is all completely FREE and CONFIDENTIA

L. You can meet with you one of us and we will help you understand the way the procedures are run. We can also help with evidence, witness questioning, and statement writing among other things. Student Advocates have a unique ability to represent students in hearings, and ensure that the student is being treated fairly. So it is advised that you take a student advocate to yours. Our Office is also responsible for educating the student body about their rights regarding both student conduct and academic integrity. Our largest Know Your Rights campaign is centered around the Sun God Festival. To meet with a student advocate visit us during our posted office hours. If you are unable to make one of those times email [email protected] to set up an appointment. Please remember that as a UCSD Student you have a lawyer on retainer. To meet with a lawyer contact UCSD's Student Legal Services at 858-534-4374 or sls.ucsd.edu!
