Students can complete their first two years of a four-year degree or acquire vocational training. As a member of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA), the OC Rattler Rodeo team participates in 10 regional rodeos within the Central Rocky Mountain Region; five fall rodeos and five spring rodeos. Thanks to the generous support from the community and the City of La Junta, the team's practice facility provides students with timed event and rough stock practice facilities as well as modern horse stalls, all within a few miles of the OC campus.
