A new landmark has arrived at Biola. Albert Paley's sculpture "Portal" now stands at the heart of campus, anchoring the newly renovated space where three of our schools, the School of Science, Technology and Health, Crowell School of Business and Snyder School of Cinema & Media Arts, all meet.

Paley, an American modernist metal sculptor, created "Portal" in 2008. The nearly 16-foot, 3,800-pound work is fabricated of weathering steel that develops a rich patina and resists deterioration, and has been on view at sculpture parks and museums worldwide, including an international traveling exhibition through Europe.

With profound appreciation to Howard and Roberta Green Ahmanson, we are grateful for this gift to our campus and our community, and can't wait to see this new space full of students!

Forbes just released its 2026 College Financial Grades and Biola ranked in the top 11% of Council for Christian Colleges & Universities governing members evaluated!

President Barry Corey and the President’s Cabinet visited Phoenix Seminary this week, a milestone moment on the road to establishing Talbot Seminary Phoenix, the new regional Arizona campus of Talbot School of Theology, pending all necessary authorizations.

Big news for Biola University and Talbot School of Theology!

Biola University's Board of Trustees has unanimously approved the acquisition of Phoenix Seminary. Pending all necessary authorizations, the seminary will become Talbot Seminary Phoenix, a new regional Arizona campus of Talbot School of Theology. We could not be more excited about the opportunity to expand Talbot's mission and serve students in Arizona and beyond.
