This event was to celebrate, acknowledge, and thank the continued support from our College of Southern Maryland donors and to show how they have and continue to have a direct impact on the success of our students and college mission. We’re grateful to the Calvert County NAACP for their generous MLK Day of Service donation of 212 pounds of food and 36 personal care items to the CSM Hawk Pantry!

This meaningful gift reflects Dr. King’s legacy of service and compassion and is a true example of in action. Thank you for your partnership and care for our .

The Hawk Pantry provides students with free, confidential access to nutritious food at our La Plata, Leonardtown, Prince Frederick, and Regional Hughesville campuses.

We’re grateful to the The Wills Group, Inc. for their investment in our students and the future of healthcare in Southern Maryland!

The College of Southern Maryland (CSM) Foundation received a $100K gift from the Wills Group to support a new career pathway in radiation therapy.

The Radiation Therapy Program will train students to administer radiation treatments and operate industry standard laboratory equipment to provide high-quality healthcare while helping to meet a critical need in the healthcare workforce.

CSM President Dr. Yolanda Wilson said this investment will have a significant impact by opening new career pathways for students while advancing the college’s mission to address evolving regional workforce needs.

Thank you to CSM alumna Lorraine Diana ’79 and Robert Guite for creating the Pathways to Possibility Fund—the largest gift ever to CSM and a game-changer for our Hawks! 💙

A historic moment for the College of Southern Maryland! Lorraine Diana ’79 and Robert Guite have made the largest gift in the college’s history, creating the Pathways to Possibility Fund. The fund will provide students with traditional scholarships, as well as financial support for other needs which can create barriers to education, such as food, transportation, living expenses, or essential school supplies like nursing equipment or trade program tools.
