For ULV’s newest students, building community started with service.

First-year students joined faculty, staff, and residents from neighboring Hillcrest for the 15th Annual FLEX and New Student Engagement Day, working across generations to pack more than 2,800 meals in partnership with Rise Against Hunger.

Along the way, students discovered how service can create connections both within the University of La Verne and beyond campus.
