Before the semester begins, we make space to slow down, connect, and get intentional about the year ahead.

This past weekend, our students gathered in Buena Vista for our annual camp. It’s a chance to spend meaningful time together, build relationships, set our vision, talk through schedules, and prepare for everything this new semester will bring.

Tomorrow, the semester begins, and we couldn’t be more excited for what’s ahead. We’d love for you to join us in praying for our students as they step into a new semester, new opportunities, and all that God has in store.

We had an incredible week with Flatirons Students for summer camp. At Flatirons College, education doesn’t stop in the classroom. You serve. You lead. You grow.

Most of our students are actively serving in kids or youth ministry, creating real opportunities to develop their leadership skills, put what they’re learning in class to the test, and help others grow in their faith.

Because the best way to learn how to lead is to step up and lead.

As our time in Montevideo has come to a close, we’re leaving with hearts full of gratitude.

One of the greatest gifts of this trip has been the opportunity to partner with and learn from the incredible leaders at La Ruta. Their deep commitment to Jesus, unwavering love for students, and passion for serving the city of Montevideo have challenged and inspired our entire team.

Partnerships like these remind us that ministry is stronger when we learn from one another, serve together, and keep our eyes fixed on the same mission.

We return home encouraged, equipped, and excited for all that God has in store for this next season at Flatirons College. Thank you to everyone at La Ruta for welcoming us, investing in our team, and allowing us to serve alongside you. We’re already looking forward to what’s ahead.

Another great day in Montevideo 🇺🇾

Today, our team spent the morning with the incredible crew from La Ruta, learning more about their ministry and the impact they’re making in the lives of students across the city.

In the afternoon, we had the opportunity to explore Montevideo before joining the team again to help host a student study night. From meaningful conversations to building new relationships, it’s been a privilege to serve alongside partners who are creating spaces for students to find community and connection.

We’re grateful for all that we’re learning and experiencing this week and look forward to what the rest of the trip holds.

Flatirons College is in Montevideo, Uruguay this week, partnering once again with the incredible team at Globalscope. La Ruta Montevideo

Throughout the week, our students and staff will be serving alongside their team, connecting with students, supporting ongoing ministry efforts, and helping facilitate programming on the ground.

We’re grateful for longstanding partnerships like this that provide opportunities to learn, serve, and make a meaningful impact beyond our campus.

Building community before the semester even begins. 🤍

Last night, we had the opportunity to connect with incoming students during a Student Life event filled with conversation, laughter, and new friendships. Moments like these are what make the Flatirons College experience so special.

We’re excited to welcome this next class and can’t wait to see all that God has in store for them this year.
