Beginning with one program, the Certified Nursing Assistant program, the school now offers other programs to meet the needs and demands of the community and surrounding parishes. Last week, we had so much fun at our Lafayette Campus for Bring a Friend to Class Day! ✨Our guests got to check out all of our programs, spend time in the labs, meet instructors, and see what life at Unitech is really like. From Dental Assisting 🦷 and Medical Assistant 🩺 to Electrical ⚡, HVAC ❄️, Massage Therapy 💆, Pharmacy Technician 💊, and EKG/Phlebotomy Technician 💉 — there was a little something for everyone! We’re excited to introduce Jasmine Serie, CPhT, our Pharmacy Technician Program Director and Instructor! 💊💚 Jasmine brings over 14 years of experience in the pharmacy field, with a background in retail, hospital, oncology, infusion therapy, compounding, and pharmacy education. She’s passionate about preparing students for more than graduation and helping them leave the program feeling confident, prepared, and ready to take the next step toward a career in pharmacy and the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE).

Jasmine believes her classroom should be more than just a place to learn—it should be an experience where hands-on activities, real-world scenarios, challenges, and memorable learning techniques bring pharmacy concepts to life while encouraging students to participate, think critically, and grow! 🧪
