The past few weeks, our seniors have been working hard finding activities to teach standards for elementary science. Gears, mass and weight, sound and light waves, magnets, friction, electricity, and many other topics filled our days.

Earlier this week, junior Elementary Education majors and Dr. Vicki Thrailkill Pheil visited Hillside Montessori to observe their classrooms. We thank Hillside Montessori for welcoming us into their community. Seeing a variety of learning experiences is important for our teacher candidates. LaGrange College

We are proud of these four doctoral scholars from Troup County School System. We remain thankful for the continued partnership with our local teachers and administrators.

Four Troup County School System employees recently made history as members of the inaugural doctoral cohort at LaGrange College, each earning a Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction. This milestone reflects a shared commitment to educational leadership, innovation, and excellence within TCSS.

Dr. Yashica Brooks, Technology Department
Dr. Karishma (Reshma) Bakshani, Hogansville Elementary School

Their achievement represents not only personal and professional dedication, but also the continued investment of TCSS educators in advancing teaching and learning for students across the district. Congratulations!
