Have you gotten your NDCOC wallet-sized Fighting Irish football schedule yet? What about our Club sticker? Both of these are FREE to our members and will be available at the Season Preview event on Monday 8/31 (don’t forget to RSVP — link in bio or at https://my.nd.edu/events/284812)!

Interested in attending the University of Notre Dame?

You and your family are invited to an “ND on the Road” event presented by Monica Newland, a representative from Notre Dame Admissions.

The session will include information on academic, community, and spiritual life at the University of Notre Dame, as well as insights into the admissions and financial aid processes. This is a great opportunity to get your questions answered.

Happy first day of class to all of our NDCOC students, with extra well wishes to the brand new Class of 2030!

We hope our newest Notre Dame students had a great Welcome Weekend and that all our current students are settling in and getting into the swing of the new school year!

Join the Notre Dame Club of Orange County for our first Play Like a Champion Today Play Date of the season, happening before kickoff as the Fighting Irish take on the Wisconsin Badgers on September 6th! That’s just TWO weeks away!

This is a casual, family-friendly gathering open to all NDCOC members, alumni, families, and friends with Future Domers (children ages 12 and under). Come enjoy a relaxed afternoon at the park, let the kids play, connect with fellow Irish families, and build new friendships before cheering on the Irish later that day.

We’ll provide light snacks and refreshments. The park also features a splash pad, so if your child plans to participate, be sure to bring a towel, sunscreen, and a change of clothes.

Wear your favorite Notre Dame gear and get ready to Cheer, Cheer for Old Notre Dame!

Notre Dame students are back on campus, Fall practice is underway, the first set of pre-season rankings are out ( #4), and here in Orange County we’re looking forward to the 2026 football season. Join us for our annual Fighting Irish Football Preview and get the inside scoop on what the season has in store!

We’ll be at Malarky’s on the Newport Peninsula Monday, August 31 at 5:00PM! Our own Steve Beuerlein will start video chatting with Reggie Brooks at 5:30 pm.

What memories do you have from your first ND move-in day?

Roughly 2,160 freshmen in the class of 2030 and 175 transfer students are arriving on campus this weekend at the University of Notre Dame, including those who participated in the guaranteed-transfer Gateway Program.

Of students admitted to the University, 65% had enrolled, representing a “notable 6 percentage point increase over the current senior class yield,” vice president for undergraduate enrollment Micki Kidder wrote via email.

Despite the larger class size, the acceptance rate for this year’s cycle remained at 9%, which was a record low for the University in 2025.
