Audition for BYU–Hawaii’s Fall 2026 production of Savior of the World: His Birth and Resurrection—a sacred, intercultural musical drama coming to the PCC Pacific Theater.

We’re seeking actors, singers, dancers, and musicians to help bring the story of Jesus Christ to life. All experience levels are welcome, with roles spanning ages 8 through the 60s. We especially invite performers grounded in the cultures of Asia and the Pacific—and musicians who play traditional or culturally distinctive instruments.

📅 Auditions: August 29 and September 1–3
📍 McKay Auditorium

🎭 Performances: November 28–29 and December 2, 2026

BLACK RUSSIAN: A Real Black Mormon Missionary in Moscow
Written, directed, and performed by Michael Morris

A Black kid with Compton roots goes to Harvard, converts to Mormonism, and becomes a missionary in post-Soviet Moscow.

Black Russian is a true-story solo show blending storytelling, humour, gospel music and Russian opera to explore race, faith, belonging and survival.
