On this day, 64 years ago, six-year-old Ruby Bridges became the first Black student to attend an all-white elementary school in New Orleans, Louisiana.This remarkable woman is not ancient history. She is 70 years old. The hate she fought then is still with us now. A reminder that we are not done, we must not quit, and that change is yet possible.
