INEOS Olefins & Polymers, one of the nation’s largest chemical companies, has immediate openings at its Chocolate Bayou facility outside of Alvin, Texas for the following positions.

(3) Millwright Mechanical Apprentice
(1) Analyzer Apprentice
(1) I&E Apprentice

The Olefins & Polymers USA division of INEOS is one of the largest producers of olefins and polyolefins in North America. From its manufacturing locations at Chocolate Bayou and the Battleground Manufacturing Complex, it is a merchant marketer of butadiene, ethylene, polypropylene and high-density polyethylene with annual revenue of over $4b.
The Chocolate Bayou Site is located in Southeastern Texas about 40 miles South of Houston and consists of two Olefins units that produce approximately 3bn pounds/year of ethylene, 2 Polypropylene units that produce approximately 800m pounds/ year of polypropylene, and the Light Ends storage & transfer facilities at Stratton Ridge.

Millwright Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a two (2) year industrial Maintenance Technology degree or an approved industrial maintenance technology (Millwright/Machinist) program, from an accredited institution/college. AND
• Completion of at least one semester of study

Analyzer & I&E Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a two (2) year Associates Technology degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Computer Repair, Process Control, or other related technical field., from an accredited institution/college. AND
• Completion of at least one semester of study

CALLING ALL JOB SEEKERS- -The Wilderness Golf Club in Lake Jackson, Texas, is accepting applications for Deli/Snack Bar Personnel. Ability to follow directions and perform basic tasks with minimal supervision, and a friendly smile and positive attitude are required!
-Job rotation includes Deli/Snack Bar Counter open and closing shifts, and Beverage Cart shifts on the golf course will be made available after a short amount of time and experience are gained on the job.
-Must be able and willing to work weekends and weekdays, and hours that vary between as early as 6:30 a.m. and as late as 8:00 p.m. in the summer months.
-The job pays hourly, plus tips or gratuities. Must be at least 18 years of age and able to serve alcohol once TABC (Texas Alcohol and Beverage Commission) trained and certified. TABC training is simple (takes 1 hour at most to complete the Safe Seller Training course), and the facility will pay for any fees involved with the certification process.

It is expected that Process Operator will be responsible for safe and reliable operations of the PAO & LAO facility working with Shift Supervisors, Operations Engineers, the MOC Coordinator, and the Operations team.
The Process Operators will be responsible running the day-to-day operations for the LAO and/or PAO oligomers facility at Chocolate Bayou.
