Brazosport College Law Enforcement Academy

BCLEA is a professional training program regulated by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement.

Successful completion earns the candidate college credit hours and an endorsement to take a State licensing exam to become a Peace Officer in Texas.

We’re all set up for Gator Preview Day at the Dow Academic Center here on campus from 5-7pm this evening. Come see us and many other wonderful programs this school has to offer!! Members from Class # 138 representing well!

We just completed a MAJOR upgrade to our simulation lab with the addition of the LE550 Driving Simulator! This state of the art equipment will improve our student skills in driving - to include emergency response situations, pursuits, and will even simulate vehicle malfunctions, all kinds of weather conditions, and other traffic conditions! Just in time for the summer classes to get started next week!

What a nice gesture from the Manvel PD Special Response Team as they came to train in our facility this morning! We are always happy to help our law enforcement agency partners with whatever we can. This group is awesome!

Class #137 is off to a brand new life of public service. Excellent turnout for this group and we wish them all the very best!

*** For Immediate Release ***

As of 11:00 am this morning, all members of Class #137 have taken and passed the State exam!

With this, our program now has a 100% pass rate on the State exam for three consecutive years!

We especially thank our talented and dedicated staff of instructors who work very hard at delivering the best experience our students can get!
