We extend our thoughts and condolences to the Stallberg family as both Deputy Stallberg and his wife, Detective Samantha Stallberg, are both graduates of our program.

It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of our brother, Deputy Paul Stallberg.

Paul dedicated more than 11 years to the Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office, following nearly nine years of service in the United States Army. During his time with our agency, he made a lasting impact on his fellow deputies, this organization, and the community we serve. He was respected not only for the work he did, but for the person he was.

For those of us who had the privilege of working alongside Paul, we know we have lost more than a fellow deputy. We have lost a friend, a brother, and a member of our Sheriff's Office family.

Our thoughts and prayers remain with Paul’s family and loved ones. We ask for prayers to support his family during this difficult time.

We are grateful for Paul’s service, his friendship, and the lasting mark he left on our Sheriff's Office and the Brazosport community.

Rest easy, Paul. You served well, and you will not be forgotten.
