Earlier this week we interviewed two of Lake Placid’s oldest residents. One of them went to the original Lake Placid School only a few years after it opened. Come hear their stories in a special documentary debuting at the Centennial celebration! 🎉

As a reminder, if you are planning to graduate from SFSC this semester, your important dates are as follows:

🎓Friday, Oct. 24 = deadline to register to participate in the Dec. 11, 2025 Commencement Ceremony (Action item: Fill out the Graduation Application)

🎓Friday, Oct. 31 = deadline to purchase a cap and gown at the SFSC Bookstore OR to bring in a borrowed cap and gown to the Office of Student Services to be approved for use (Action item: Stop in at the Bookstore or Student Services on the Highlands Campus)
