Welcome aboard Dana!!

The CMMC/UAMS East Community Outreach Center in Lake Village has officially welcomed Dana Bonney as its new Director, bringing a familiar and trusted presence to lead local wellness efforts.

Bonney is no stranger to the Center or the Lake Village community. Over the years, he has taught a variety of fitness classes and remains a regular in the facility, committed to his own personal wellness and to encouraging healthy habits in others.

As Director, Bonney will oversee daily operations, support health programming, and continue to promote a culture of wellness for residents throughout the region. His hands-on experience and strong community ties make him well positioned to lead with purpose and energy. While serving as a Certified Dietary Manager at Chicot Memorial Medical Center since 2015, he demonstrated a commitment and dedication to nutrition care, displaying an aptitude in the kitchen when treating employees and guests to new dishes. He has also attained certifications as a personal trainer and sports nutritionist (ISSA).

The CMMC/UAMS East Community Outreach Center is a collaborative effort between Chicot Memorial Medical Center, the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) East, and the City of Lake Village. The Center offers free group fitness classes, access to a weight and cardio rooms, and educational health resources, serving as a vital hub for health and wellness in the community.

Residents are encouraged to visit the Center, connect with Dana, and take advantage of the many services available. Business hours are Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
