Florida Southern's Greek community came together this past week for friendly competition and a meaningful cause during Greek Week 2026!

Panhellenic and the Interfraternity Council (IFC) joined forces to support kidsPACK, collecting more than 1,000 nonperishable food items and raising $3,198.50 to help provide nutritious food for children in need.

Congratulations to Gamma Phi Beta and Pi Kappa Phi, this year’s Greek Week champions! Both organizations will receive $350 to donate to their international philanthropy.

According to kidsPACK, the food and funds raised are enough to sponsor 10 children with food for the entire academic school year! We’re proud to see our Greek community making a difference through service, generosity and teamwork.

For the next installment of our Alumni Success Series, we are featuring Kim Downs ’95 and Morgan Word ’24, MBA '26.

Their paths first crossed through Delta Sigma Pi, the business fraternity both joined as Florida Southern students. Downs, a graduate of the School of Business, had returned to campus to speak with members about her career in health care and quality improvement. Word was among the students who connected with her that day.

After gaining an internship with Downs' team at Watson Clinic, her internship eventually developed into a full-time position, which she now holds as a Contracting & QI/VBS Associate.

Yesterday, the CEO100 Lecture Series welcomed Florida Southern College alumnus and United Franchise Group CEO Ray Titus ’85 to the George W. Jenkins Field House.

The CEO100 Lecture Series brings business leaders and accomplished professionals to campus to share their experiences, insights and perspectives with the next generation of leaders. Through these conversations, students have the opportunity to learn beyond the classroom and gain a closer look at the experiences and lessons that shape successful careers.

Thank you to Ray Titus ’85 for returning to campus and sharing your time and expertise with our students, and to everyone who helped make this year’s CEO100 Lecture Series a meaningful experience!
