Indigenous Peoples Day is an opportunity to recognize Indigenous histories and perspectives, celebrate the strength and diversity of Native communities, and reflect on the importance of honoring Indigenous voices and sovereignty.

At Pierce College, we recognize that learning includes listening, challenging incomplete narratives, and building meaningful relationships with Indigenous communities. Today and every day, we encourage our community to continue learning, uplifting Indigenous voices, and honoring the lands and peoples whose histories shape our shared present.
