📚 Rural educators: Applications are now open for the 2026–27 Grants in Place program!

Through the Rural Schools Collaborative, rural public school teachers can apply for grants of up to $2,500 to support innovative Place-Based Education projects that connect students, learning and their local communities.

As a Rural Schools Collaborative Regional Hub, Ohio University Regional Higher Education is helping spread the word about this opportunity to educators throughout our region.

Applications are open through October 30, 2026.

Rain or shine, our senior nursing students are out at the Fairfield County Fair today, putting their skills into practice and giving back to the community!

There's still time to stop by and see them! Our students will be at the fair until 7 p.m. TODAY, offering FREE blood pressure checks in the Art Hall and fun, health-related activities for children at the OHIO Lancaster nursing tent.

🩺 OHIO Lancaster nursing students are making a difference at the Fairfield County Fair! 🎡

Senior nursing students enrolled in NRSE 4132: Population Health in Nursing are putting their skills into practice while giving back to the community as part of their clinical experience.

Our students are offering FREE blood pressure checks in the Art Hall and hosting fun, health-related activities for children at the OHIO Lancaster nursing tent!

📍 Visiting the fair? Stop by either location through Friday to meet our nursing students, learn more about your health and enjoy some family-friendly activities!

The Hannah V. McCauley Library will soon welcome some very special visitors as part of Paws and Relax.

Therapy dogs will be on campus to offer hugs, smiles, and a much-needed break from the rigors of studying in the middle of the semester.

🐾 A great day of connection at OHIO Lancaster!

Yesterday, OHIO Lancaster welcomed leadership from the College of Health Sciences and Professions (CHSP) and the School of Nursing (SON) for their annual campus site visit.

The visit provided an opportunity to connect with students, faculty and campus leadership while highlighting the educational experiences and opportunities available to our future healthcare professionals.
