From Stephanie concerning the Greece team :)
250 members. That's quite the prayer team! Thank you so much for joining us in our journey to Greece. It's hard to believe, but 48 hours from now we'll be in the airport getting ready to depart. Many of you have asked how you can pray over these next couple days, so here are some ideas:
- Weather. We are getting a snow storm tomorrow, but all should be clear by the time we need to head to the airport Thursday. Still, there are sure to be a few hiccups as we navigate the aftermath, and we are asking the God who commands the wind and waves to keep the path clear. Who knows, a storm tomorrow could be a gift of calm before the trip?! :)
- Finances. There are still a couple people who are not fully funded. We are grateful for how we've seen Jesus show up in this, and we don't expect him to stop.
- Safety. With travel, this is always a request. We have prayed and prepped and feel confident in our plans, but still are asking Jesus for a special measure of safety for our students.
- Team unity / growth. As a leadership team, our prayer for the students is that they will not just be able to serve, but also to grow and see more of the character of Jesus. We are honored to lead them in this.
Thank you for your prayers. It is no small thing that 250 friends and family are behind us, and we know God hears. Stay tuned for more updates from my co-leaders and the team. We anticipate many stories of God being at work!
