Club members Jacob Lange, Brock Weese, Trevor Soppe, and AJ Andersen got to speak with the Eastern Iowa Bassmasters youth club last night. They shared their college fishing experience with the group, emphasizing the importance of balancing school and college fishing while also making friends and memories along the way. For the fourth year in a row the weather hasn’t worked well with the club Ice fishing trip. Club members battled some strong winds and very cold temps this past weekend. Nonetheless, fish were still caught and memories were still made. Can’t wait for our next club trip and everything else 2026 will hold for the club!

The UNI Fishing Club spring trip was a huge success! The boys straight up caught em’ this weekend on the river. Lots of big smallmouth, and even a little multi species mixed in. Lots of great memories made and already looking forward to our fall trip.
