Today, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. proudly honors the 79th birthday of the United States Air Force, a force that has safeguarded our skies and defended our nation with unwavering dedication.

Originally established as part of the U.S. Army in 1907, the Air Force became an independent branch of the military in 1947, thanks to the leadership of fellow VFW Life Member, President Harry S. Truman, who signed the National Security Act into law. Today, “Big Blue” continues its mission to fly, fight, and win - delivering airpower anytime, anywhere, in defense of our nation.

SEPTEMBER IS CHILDHOOD CANCER MONTH AND SICKLE CELL AWARENESS MONTH

This year, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated is revamping our St. Jude fundraising and awareness campaign as Kiss Sickle Cell Goodbye. Help us make an impact in the fight against sickle cell disease. Your donations will go towards the purchase of Blood Count Test for Sickle Cell Patients. A blood count test checks if a person has enough healthy blood cells. It helps doctors see if they have anemia, an infection or if their treatment is working.

We will never forget.
Each year, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated solemnly pauses to honor the lives lost, the courage of first responders who gave everything, and the resilience of survivors who continue to bear the weight of that day. We remember not only the tragedy, but the unity, strength, and humanity that emerged in its wake.
Our hearts remain with the families, friends, and communities forever changed by the events of September 11th. Their pain is enduring, and so is our commitment to remembrance.
