The University of Wyoming MBA cohort recently had the opportunity to visit the Wyoming State Capitol for a day of learning about leadership, policy, and the intersection of government and business.

Students had the privilege of meeting with Wyoming’s five elected statewide officials and sharing breakfast with members of the legislature. These conversations provided valuable insight into the priorities shaping Wyoming’s economy, workforce, and business climate. They also had the chance to sit in on both the House and Senate sessions, seeing firsthand how policy decisions are discussed and enacted.

Experiences like this are a powerful reminder that strong economies are built through collaboration between business, education, and government. For MBA students preparing to lead in Wyoming and beyond, opportunities to engage directly with policymakers provide an invaluable perspective on how strategic decisions at the state level impact industries, entrepreneurs, and communities.

A sincere thank you to the Wyoming State Government and the many public servants who took time to speak with our cohort. We appreciate your continued support of the University of Wyoming and your commitment to creating opportunities for the next generation of business leaders.
