My final Spring Convocation at UW was incredibly meaningful. I’m deeply grateful to Governor Gordon, Trustee Schmid-Pizzato, ASUW, our Staff and Faculty Senates, Interim Provost Anne Alexander, and everyone who made the afternoon so special. It was a chance to reflect on all we have accomplished together, thank the many people who have shaped this university, and look ahead with real excitement for UW’s future under incoming President Shane Reeves. I left feeling proud, grateful, and very lucky to have been part of this remarkable community. Go Pokes! 🤠

Experiential learning is one of the most powerful ways we prepare students for what comes next. It was a pleasure to attend the Experiential Education Showcase, share a few remarks, and hear from ASUW President Paula Medina about the real impact these opportunities have on learning, growth, and future success. I’m grateful for the faculty, staff, and partners who help bring these experiences to life for our students every day.
